Abt’s commitment to our Small and Diverse Business Program
Since our founding in 1965, Abt has partnered with small businesses globally, not only to bolster economic growth among these companies but because many have proved to be exceptional partners. We seek and build relationships with diverse organizations, vendors, and suppliers who mirror and represent the communities with whom we work and who align with our mission and values. It requires us to partner with communities and local organizations in new ways and use an equity lens to center the voices and lived experiences of the people most impacted by the challenges we seek to address.
We have experience with all facets of the small business community, working with firms owned by women, able and disabled veterans, Alaska natives, Indian tribes, historically Black universities, and companies classified as socially and economically disadvantaged businesses, including HUBZone businesses. Abt recognizes that support for small business is a cornerstone of continued economic growth for our country, and it’s vital to our mission—to improve the quality of life and economic well-being of people worldwide.
