Rapid re-housing (RRH) programs provide temporary assistance to individuals and families who experience homelessness, with the goal of enabling them to pivot quickly into permanent housing where they can stabilize. RRH is considered a single approach to addressing homelessness but, from funding requirements to local housing market characteristics to the goals and usage of RRH, the programs can vary greatly.  Created for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, this paper combines new data with existing administrative data on RRH programs to describe key features of programs nationwide. The extensive data--collected in the RRH repository--provides several opportunities for additional research, both for further analyses and as a platform to guide additional research projects.
