This report is the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs’ (EEA) 2015 update to the Massachusetts Clean Energy and Climate Plan for 2020 (“CECP Update”), as required by the Global Warming Solutions Act of 2008 (GWSA). The update  emphasizes initiatives that address energy challenges that face residents and businesses across Massachusetts. The analysis within this report indicates that a greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction of at least 25% by 2020 is attainable, and reaching this goal requires consistent effort and collaboration across all sectors.
