Report
May 27, 2016
Abt Global, in partnership with the Stockholm Environment Institute, estimated the cost of climate change mitigation, designed Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs), and identified mitigation investment opportunities in the energy and transport sectors in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan for the Asian Development Bank.
This Technical Assistance (TA) report is the product of resarch conducted over a two-year period to increase the availability of information on the options and costs for reducing GHG emissions and reducing the negative effects of climate change in Central and West Asia. This TA covers the Mitigation Component of the TA, which estimates the cost of reducing GHG emissions and identifies climate change mitigation investment opportunities in the energy and transport sectors of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
